Placer Community Theater invites you to experience the wonderful world of live theater in the heart of Auburn. Local actors provide the talent for old favorites, as well as new theater productions. PCT is a true community theater - working with veteran performers, nurturing new talent, and supporting local writers by bringing their original works to life on stage. This musical takes place in the 1930's and is based on the film The Shop Around the Corner (also the premise for You've Got Mail). This is the classic tale of a couple who feud in real life, but unknowingly become pen pals and fall in love.
